KDR305 and Bridge Initiative present

FLORIDA ROOM NO 2:

BISCAYNE BAY

July 22 – August 19, 2023

featuring 21 artists, writers, and makers in an eclectic sunroom setting. 

Honoring the Bay through various artists' practices in an intergenerational grouping. Thematically the artworks overall range from the organic, nautical, historical, fantastical, sometimes problematic, political, climate-related, floral, fauna, folklore, underwater, over water, and of course, the beauty and, most of all, the quirkiness that is the Biscayne Bay. A percentage of the proceeds from each artwork sold will go to Bridge Initiative to champion their work advocating and protecting the Bay. 

Exhibiting Artists: Sharon Aluma, Alissa Alfonso, Alejandro Piñeiro Bello, Carlos Betancourt, Bean Blackett, Brian Butler, Nicole Burko, Christo Jean Claude, Johnny Defeo, Michele Oka Doner, Orlando Estrada, Naomi Fisher, Wayne Garcia, Justin Giunta, Alberto Latorre, Lo Hi Magazine, Coral Morphologic, Jessy Nite,  Christina Pettersson, Lee Pivnik, and Misael Soto.

KDR305 is a contemporary exhibition space housed in a 103 yr old cottage in the heart of Little Havana, Miami, FL. The exhibition opes Saturday, July 22, 6:30–8:30PM.
